Good things happen when we sleep rough for Byte Night

Each year, our team sleep out under the stars near London Bridge, with no shelter, to raise thousands of pounds for a charity that’s extremely close to our heart. There’s a great atmosphere, a lot of chat, and not much sleep.

Byte Night is the IT industry’s annual sleep-out in support of Action for Children, who help prevent youth homelessness. Every winter, thousands of individuals and teams from across the technology community spend a night exposed to the elements in a bid to raise sponsorship and awareness. We’re a B2B technology sales & marketing agency so we’re truly proud to take an active part in Byte Night over the past few years.

Byte Night began in 1997 when 30 individuals from the IT industry slept out and raised £35,000. Since then Byte Night has grown to over 1400 sleepers and are now the biggest charity sleep-out in the UK, raising over £1 million in 2013.

The charity works with over 50,000 children and young people whose families need support, are in care, disabled or experience severe difficulties in their lives through 480 projects, services and schools. Action for Children also promotes social justice through research and by lobbying and campaigning for change.
